How often do you get the opportunity to do little bit of good in advertising?  Only when you do it just right. 

The idea was simple. FitForFood allowed Fitbit users to turn every active calorie burned into a meal donation to Feeding America.

Pitched in October. Sold in November. Designed and developed in December. Launched in January.  With a tiny team of 3 developers, we brought the idea to life in just 6 weeks.

The core experience is a responsive site allowing Fitbit users to monitor their caloric contributions in the race to donate 1 billion calories.

The simplistic design and ease of functionality is paired with a weekly dynamic email, which serves as an individual progress report for participants. 

In a truly successful earned media campaign- the program had over 106,000 sign ups and reached the goal of 1 billion calories in just under 16 days.
